Amherst FRCo - The Hadley, 8'6"
This original AFRCo is in very good condition. One guide and its wraps have been replaced. It has an all cork, cap and slide band reel seat with oxidized nickel silver hardware and oxidized ferrules, unusual on Amherst rods. The wraps are dark brown, also unusual. It appears to have been custom made to order. The ferrule sizes are 17 and 11. It seems to favor a 5 weight line and the action is medium. I have cleaned to cork grip and replace one guide. The varnish is excellent. The rod bag and tube are original.
