Leonard Model 51
This rarely found Leonard Model 51 can be fished as an 8 foot, 4 piece, 5 weight fly rod or converted by reversing the handle to a 7 foot, 3 piece, light casting rod. It is in excellent original condition. The fly rod has a nice medium action suitable for all-around fishing. The butt section ends in a ferrule that fits into the detachable handle and pulls out so it can be reversed for use as a 3 piece casting rod. The ferrules are all nickel silver and the wraps are translucent amber. The sections are only 25 inches long for increased portability. The varnish is excellent and the rod comes with the original bag and tube.
