At 9’6” it is made specifically for lough style fishing, in four pieces for ease of portability. It has a down-locking reel seat with nickel-silver hardware and a maple insert. The cork grip is a 6.5-inch torpedo style. The stripping guide is nickel silver with agate insert and the 11 snake guides are fine-wire black-nickel Snake Brand. The wraps are gold with green trim, finished with four coats of ultra-thin varnish to avoid build-up. It is a medium action, 5/6 weight made to cast a long line and fight big brown and sea trout. It comes in a four-piece rod bag and a cordura nylon rod tube with strap.
